When you are going to shot an elopement wedding and the couple welcomes you with a couple of beers, you know things are going to get a little odd.
Amy & Rich elope to get married in Costa Rica. They met for the first time here, so it made total sense to join their lives together in front of the same sea who saw their story begin.
I have to say I was a little nervous since Amy is a successful wedding planner in New York, I was thinking she wanted every little detail completely perfect and planned for her own wedding, and well, that is not my style of work. So at the same time, I was curious about what she wanted me for this unique occasion.
Long story short, turns out Amy & Rich are the coolest and more relax couple in the whole world and they just wanted to be spontaneous and lovely.

Before the ceremony, we didn't have the classic getting ready. Instead, we had beers at Lola's, Playa Avellanas, while we were waiting for the officiant.

Right when the light was getting perfect, we walked to The boardwalk, a famous spot in Playa Avellanas. We took some great pictures of this two lovers being spontaneous.

The ceremony was perfect.The light couldn't be better, the nice ocean in the background, the sound of the waves and the right words at the right moment, these two had a lot to say to each other.

After playing around the beach they wanted to get into the water, but there were having second thoughts. So Amy and Rich decided to play the old Rock-paper-scissors game and see what happened.

Jumping into the water was not enough for them. They wanted to catch some wave as they did the first time in Costa Rica. When you are in love, nothing can stop you from getting what you want.
